During a note push, BrokerEngine generates a note and links it to the relevant FLEX opportunity or application record. This link is established only after BrokerEngine completes a card data push, allowing it to acquire a FLEX ID for connecting the note record.

You can push data from a note as many times as required. Each data push creates a new note record in the attached FLEX opportunity or application.

Prerequisites

Turning on note sync

You don't need to turn on note synchronization to push notes to FLEX. However, if note sync is turned on, BrokerEngine defaults to displaying the Add Note & Sync to FLEX button on notes.

To enable note syncs, go to the side menu and click More > Settings > Integrations. Scroll down to FLEX and expand the folder. Check the box next to Automatically sync notes created in BrokerEngine to FLEX. Click Save.

Pushing notes to a FLEX application

When you promote a FLEX opportunity to an application, FLEX creates a new FLEX ID for the application. Before you copy notes from BrokerEngine to a FLEX application, update the FLEX ID that BrokerEngine stored for the lead or deal.

Adding a note to a lead or deal card

If you integrated FLEX with BrokerEngine but didn't turn on note sync, BrokerEngine displays the Add Note Without Sync button. Click the down arrow next to the button to select Add Note & Sync to FLEX.

Open a lead or deal card. Go to the Note tab and enter the note text. Add styling, formatting, or links. (optional)

To save the note and push it to FLEX, click Add Note & Sync to FLEX.

If you don't want to sync the note to FLEX, click the down arrow beside the button and select Add Note Without Sync.

Confirming the note was copied

  1. Inside the deal or lead, go to Activity Feed.

  2. Scroll down the list to your note.

  3. Look for a cloud icon next to the Note Added heading. The cloud icon indicates a successful sync to FLEX.
