Copy details to AFG's FLEX

To avoid handling data more than once, enter all your lead or deal information into BrokerEngine. Then, copy key information to FLEX.

If you are using the FLEX Fact Find integration, sync the deal via the Fact Find instead. However, this integration doesn't support a true sync because it doesn't continually update information between BrokerEngine and FLEX. Instead, the integration allows a one-way push of information from BrokerEngine. That push creates a new record in FLEX.

Warning

You can only push a deal to FLEX once. If you miss any data, you won't be able to resync the deal and push BrokerEngine data to update the information on the FLEX side. Optionally, you can break the link and start again, but this creates a new opportunity in FLEX.

Data that you can copy to FLEX

The minimum data that you must have in a deal before you can copy to FLEX is:

  • Full name of the client.

  • Email address.

What the data looks like in FLEX

When you sync a lead or deal to FLEX, BrokerEngine creates a new opportunity in FLEX. If an applicant is linked to a FLEX contact, BrokerEngine links the new opportunity to that contact as well.


Copy card information to a new opportunity in FLEX

Open the BrokerEngine lead or deal you want to copy. Confirm you have added all the information you want to send to FLEX. Click the FLEX icon.

BrokerEngine asks if you want to create an opportunity in FLEX or link to an existing opportunity or application. Click New FLEX Opportunity.

BrokerEngine displays an overview of the information that it will push to FLEX. Expand each section to review the listed information. Click Go to Sync.

Click Sync now.

When the push completes, BrokerEngine displays a confirmation message. This includes the FLEX ID for the linked opportunity in FLEX.


Troubleshoot a FLEX data push

You might receive a sync error that looks like this:

Issue(s) found. Kindly check the required fields.

Check the login details that you added when you integrated FLEX with BrokerEngine.
