Important information about linking a lead or deal to FLEX
BrokerEngine can't check that a FLEX ID you enter is the correct one. Please take care when you follow these instructions.
BrokerEngine is limited to checking that:
The FLEX ID belongs to a valid opportunity or application.
The opportunity or application that the FLEX ID links to is assigned to the current broker.
If you enter the incorrect application ID when updating a lead or deal, BrokerEngine will sync future notes to the incorrect application.

Update the FLEX ID for a lead or deal when you promote an opportunity
When you promote an opportunity to an application in FLEX, FLEX creates a new FLEX ID for the application. This means that BrokerEngine's stored FLEX ID for the lead or deal is no longer current. Before you can copy notes from BrokerEngine to FLEX, you need to update the FLEX ID that BrokerEngine has stored for the lead or deal.
To update a FLEX ID in BrokerEngine, prompt BrokerEngine to update FLEX ID by updating the lender reference, or manually update the FLEX ID on a lead or deal.

Remove the FLEX ID for a lead or deal
BrokerEngine doesn't allow you to remove the link between a deal or lead and a FLEX opportunity or application by deleting its FLEX ID. However, you can disconnect the lead or deal from FLEX. BrokerEngine will reset and purge the linked opportunity or application inside the deal.
