When you push information in a FLEX Fact Find from BrokerEngine to FLEX, a new contact is created in FLEX. If the contact already exists in FLEX, you've created a duplicate record, which could generate conflicts down the road. The solution is to combine duplicate contact records that were created during the FLEX Fact Find sync.

None.

Merging duplicates

In FLEX, click the Contacts tab.

Select Merge My Contacts on the drop down.

FLEX displays two tables. Go to the Contacts to be Merged table and click Query.

Enter the contact's ID or name into the relevant fields.

Select the contact created by the FLEX Fact Find sync.

In the Contact to Remain table, select the original contact.

Click Merge Contacts. FLEX displays a warning that the opportunities and applications linked to the contact on the Contacts to be Merged side will be permanently linked to the original contact instead.

Click OK. FLEX copies the information from the Fact Find and links the opportunity back to the original contact ID.
