Email a form to your client via FinanceVault.

Follow this guide to send a fact find template to a client. The flow is highly intuitive. After a few iterations, you'll know the process inside and out.

Opening the portal

Locate a lead or deal card and then double-click the name.

The full view mode displays. Go to the Client Portal box and click the GO TO PORTAL button.

Locating a template

Depending on your document setup, the fact find template you want to send could be a standalone file or inside a document stack. In this example, we work with a standalone template.

Standalone file

To send a fact find template that is not part of a document stack:

  1. Use the search bar to find the template.

  2. Locate the template.

  3. Click the Add to Request button.

BrokerEngine moves the fact find template to the DOCUMENT REQUEST pane.

You can edit the form inside the fact find template or create a template from scratch.

Inside a document stack

To send a fact find template that is part of a document stack:

  1. Use the search bar to find the document stack.

  2. Click the REQUEST ALL button.

BrokerEngine moves the stack to the DOCUMENT REQUEST pane.


Sending a request

At this point, you can add other templates to the DOCUMENT REQUEST pane. Once the list of files in the DOCUMENT REQUEST pane is complete, click the Review Request button. A side panel displays. Click the PUBLISH & SEND TO CLIENT button.

Updating document request status

You or your team must manually update the status of each file in the DOCUMENT REQUEST pane. Automatic updates are difficult because the broker needs to review each client submission for completion and accuracy.
