Here is a quick overview of the FinanceVault email template page. I'll show you how to locate the templates, configure settings, and customize messages.

Opening the FinanceVault Settings page
The first step is to open the FinanceVault settings page. This is where you can find the email templates.
Click the account icon (with your initials or profile picture) in the bottom left corner of the page.
Click Settings.
On the next page, scroll down and click the FinanceVault menu link.
Scroll down the page to the FinanceVault Email Templates heading.
Reviewing the options
This section of the page displays the available template types. There is a unique template for different kinds of FinanceVault actions. Click an arrow to expand a folder and view an email template in detail.
Editing a template
Each message template contains a combination of text and mail merge fields. You can edit any message but note these templates are for the broker group as a whole. You should not customize a template for any one client or unique situation.
If you want to send a message to a client from your BrokerEngine account, use your Email Outbox.
Working with mail merge fields
The column next to the templates shows the available merge fields.
You can add or remove template mail merge fields. Use these fields to pull data from other sources into the message. Sometimes, you can customize the content in a merge field, like a digital signature. Click here to learn more.

Disabling a template
You can't delete a template, but you can suspend its use. Expand a template folder, click the Send to recipients field (the default setting), and select Don't Send. You can always come back later and reset the default.
