Here's a breakdown of the workflow builder options and examples of cool stuff you can do with them.

  • TASK - Set up automatic tasks to trigger at various stages in your workflow. You can also link tasks to checklists. This feature helps to ensure your team completes important steps before marking the task complete. You can also auto-assign tasks to a specific user.

  • EMAIL - Set up automatic email templates to trigger at various stages in your workflow. You can also have these emails forwarded to the broker/team or send them directly from BrokerEngine to the client.

  • CONTACT TAG - Particularly useful if you have Zapier Integration set up in BrokerEngine. The tag step allows you to automate the tagging of a contact associated with a deal at set points within the workflow. These tags can then trigger a Zapier action, such as sending an SMS or adding your contacts to a marketing list in Active Campaign.

  • ARCHIVE LOAN - Inspired by Jordan Peterson's work, clean up your dashboard. Auto-archive Settled, Lost/Declined or Lost Opps deals after your preferred period of time by using the delay feature.

  • MOVE STAGE - Useful for stages such as Prepare Deal for Submission, where the action required to move to the next stage depends on the team or broker rather than back channel messages. For example, after your team submits the deal to the lender, marking the task as Done automatically moves the deal card to stage Deal Submitted to Lender.

  • CLIENT PORTAL PUBLISH - For the ultimate advanced automation, set your document request stacks to auto-publish on stage change. For example, early in the lead stage, auto-send the client an initial document request (e.g. payslips and a fact find) without opening the document portal.

  • ASSIGN/ UNASSIGN TEAMS - Particularly useful if you have a team that looks after specific parts of the loan process. For example, once the broker completes the Broker Wizard, you can auto-assign the deal submission preparation work to your Pre-Submission Team
