The Online Fact Find form's pre-fill feature lets you enter data that you've already collected (e.g. via phone conversations or other documents). You can save that information in draft form. Once you're ready, send the form to the client for review.

Learn how to open the Online Fact Find form.
Adding a template
The first step is to locate the Online Fact Find template and move it to the request window.
Log in to your BrokerEngine account.
Go to the left-hand menu and click the Boards icon.
Click the Deals link.
Locate a deal card and double-click the name. The card opens in full view mode.
On the next page, make sure Overview > DealDash is selected. Go to the FinanceVault widget and click the arrow.
On the TEMPLATES page, enter the phrase online fact find into the search bar. BrokerEngine displays that template in the field. Click the Add to Request icon.
BrokerEngine moves the template over to the DOCUMENT REQUEST pane.
At this point, the document is in draft form, and nothing has been sent to the client. Add details to the draft, and when you're ready to send the document to the client, click the Review Request button. (see below)
Opening the form
Next, open the form and fill in the fields. Go to the top left corner of the TEMPLATES page and click the Back to Deals link.
On the next page, go left-side menu and expand the Fact Find folder. Click each tab link (e.g. Goals, Applicants, etc.) and fill in the fields.
Sending the form to the client
Eventually, you'll send the Online Fact Find document to the client. The client fills in all the remaining required and relevant fields.
To send the Online Fact Find document, open the deal card in full view mode. Go to the FinanceVault widget and click the arrow.
On the next page, go to the DOCUMENT REQUEST window and click the Review Request button. Click the PUBLISH & SEND TO CLIENT button, and then OK in the confirmation pop-up. BrokerEngine changes the document status to PENDING.
What the applicant sees
BrokerEngine sends the client an email message with a link to the Online Fact Find document.
After the client opens the message and completes the 2FA, they can see the request and document link.
