The best way to manage your 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) accounts is to use the Authy app. Use a single mobile app for all your 2FA accounts and sync them across multiple devices. You can also access those accounts on the desktop.

If a site prompts you to use Google Authenticator for two-factor authentication, you can use the Authy 2FA app instead. Although they work in similar ways, Authy is more feature-rich and allows for multi-device syncing, cloud backups, and easier account recovery should you change or lose your phone or device. Read more information on the features of Authy here.

Prerequisites

Locate, download, and install the Authy app on your device.

Locating the 2FA settings

The 2FA tool is managed on the backend by BrokerEngone staff. By default, 2FA is enabled for all accounts to help clients protect their data.

These instructions show you how to change the phone number of the device that you use to authenticate your account.

Go to the bottom left corner of the page and click the account icon. Click Security in the Settings column.

The Security page displays. To change a phone number, click the Click here link.

Updating the phone number

Enter a new phone number and click Update.

On your mobile device, Authy prompts you to tap to confirm or copy a code. To copy the code, open the app, copy and paste the code into the BrokerEngine field and click Send.
