Prerequisites

Know how to create and open a proposal template and create a funding position.

Opening a diagram

Open a deal in full view mode. Go to the left side menu and click Strategy > Funding Position. Click the Funding Diagram button on the right side.

A pop up opens. It displays a Finding Diagram for your deal. Export this image as a PDF via the button, or use a screen shot tool to take a snippet.

Copying the diagram

Take a screenshot of the diagram. If you don't have a separate screenshot app, use the built-in snipping tool that comes with Windows or Mac.

Highlight the diagram. The app creates a screenshot. Save the image to your device.

Next, open the deal proposal. Go to the left side menu and click Strategy > Smart Docs.

In the centre window, click the proposal name to open the document in Edit mode.

Scroll through the document and select an area where you would like to insert the image of the funding diagram. You can use keyboard keys to paste the image into the page. If that does not work, click the Image icon in the editor toolbar and upload the image from your device.

Use the image toolbar to adjust the alignment and the blue corners to resize the screenshot. Click Save.
