You can set up email aliases if you want to send emails through BrokerEngine using more than your account email address. These are real email addresses that BrokerEngine can use but aren't your primary account email.

Prerequisites

If your email alias uses a domain (i.e. the company.com.au part of the address) that is different from the other emails you configured on BrokerEngine, then some configuration work needs to happen behind the scenes.

This article explains all the steps that need to happen so that you can set up an alias with a different domain. In part, these steps allow BrokerEngine to confirm it's allowed to send emails using that address.

Creating an alias

To set up an email alias:

  1. Go to the bottom left corner of the page and click the account icon.

  2. In the Settings column, select Personal Details.

  3. Expand Email and Report Preferences.

  4. Go to the Email aliases for verified domains heading.

  5. Click the Add alias button.

  6. Enter an email address.

Unverified

If BrokerEngine displays an Unverified domain message under the address, contact BrokerEngine support and ask the team to add the email domain to your account. They might direct you to this article.

Multiple email aliases

If you have multiple email aliases, click Make Default next to the address you want BrokerEngine to use for automated emails when a specific email address has not been set. Click Save.
