Use an external provider's e-signature functionality to get your clients to sign your client guide

Prerequisites

To send a credit guide to a client using an external provider, you'll need:

  • A membership plan that supports shareable document templates. This is typically a higher-tier paid plan.

  • Your credit guide in PDF or DOC format.


Convert credit guide into a signable form

In the external esignature provider:

  1. Upload your credit guide.

  2. Add signature and name fields.

  3. Add any extra fields you need.

  4. Create the form.

  5. Copy the form link.


Create a document in BrokerEngine

  1. Select the document stack that you send to new clients.

  2. Click ADD DOC CATEGORY.

  3. Add the text you want the email to display.
    You can use this text:

    E-Sign our Credit Guide by clicking the button below.

    This document sets out important information about the

    services we provide as a licensee broker, any fees and

    commissions payable to us by the bank, our responsible

    lending obligations, our internal and external dispute

    resolution procedures, and how you can access them.

    Here's how it works

    For all consumer loans such as Home Loans & Investment

    Loans, it is an NCCP requirement that certain documents be

    prepared and issued by the broker to the applicants before

    providing any credit assistance.

    Step 1

    After clicking the button above, you'll be taken to the next

    page, accept the terms and conditions by clicking 'Continue"

    then 'Start'.

    Step 2

    Provide your Full Legal Name by typing it in where indicated,

    draw or upload your signature, and add your preferred name.

    Then click Next to e-sign any remaining fields.

    Step 3

    Submit the form by clicking Click to Sign at the bottom of

    the page and entering your email address.

    That's all there is to it!

  4. Click the image icon to add a button that your clients can click on.

    An image you can use is attached to the bottom of this page.

  5. Navigate to the button image you want to use and click Open.

  6. Click the button image to select it, then click the link icon and paste in the E-Sign URL you copied earlier.

  7. Turn on Open in a new tab.

  8. Click the tick button.

  9. Click ADD DOCUMENT to add the credit guide to the document stack.


Send credit guide to client

  1. Select the document stack with the credit guide.

  2. Click the Add to request icon next to your credit guide.

    Alternatively, click REQUEST ALL and Yes to add all documents in the stack to the signing request.

  3. Click Review Request.

  4. Click PUBLISH & SEND TO CLIENT.
