Information on metrics within BrokerEngine

Metrics within BrokerEngine are tracked by the movement of a lead or deal card across the board. Using metrics can help to give you a clearer view of forecasted settlements, conversions or how long it takes for a deal to go from Submission prep to settlement.

Metrics can be accessed from the left tool bar within your BrokerEngine account:


1. Click '... More'

2. Select 'Metrics'

There are a number of different date range options in the top right of the metrics chart, click on the date to create a custom date range.

How metrics are tracked within BrokerEngine.

The following metrics on the BrokerVision page are tracked by the movement of a lead or deal card into a specific stage that has been set up to track the number of cards that move into the stage through a 'stage mapping' process.

  • New Leads

  • Interviews Held

  • Presentations Held

  • Deals Submitted

  • Deals Approved

Not all metrics use the stage movement alone. Settlements has two methods of tracking:

  • Settlement Date: Used for forecasted settlements, and includes results from all stages and boards. (default view)

  • Settlement stage: Settled deals only, will only show metrics for deals are are still in the settlement stage.

BrokerVision tracks the number of deals won by a slightly different method, and tracks the conversion of a lead by the board change over to the deals board

Sales Cycle Report

The sales cycle report tracks how long a lead or deal has been in a specific stage. This can be modified from the board and stage tool, or within the report itself .

See Records & Export Options

By clicking the page icon at the top of the metrics table, you can view the records used within the selected timeframe.

The following metrics can be exported to a spreadsheet:

  • Settlements

  • New Leads

  • Deals Won

Default Stage Mapping

The default settings for metrics are mapped to the stages below. The mapping for 'Deals Won' can not be changed.
