To copy your data from FLEX, we need to go through a specific process:
You export and download data from Contacts, Opportunities, Applications in Progress, and Settled Applications.
You upload the exported files to the FinanceVault in BrokerEngine.
BrokerEngine's Customer Success team imports your data into BrokerEngine.
Exporting data from FLEX is a fairly quick process, and will typically require around 10 minutes.

Prerequisites
To upload your exported files, you'll need a unique link to BrokerEngine's FinanceVault. You should have received this link from our Customer Success team. If you don't have a link to FinanceVault, please contact your Customer Success team member.
Export Contacts
Log in to FLEX.
Click the Contacts tab.
Select All Contacts or My Contacts from the drop down list.
Click Menu > Export....
FLEX will display a pop-up window, asking you which information to export and the format to use for the export file.
Choose these options:
Rows to Export: All Rows in Current Query.
Columns to Export: All.
Output Format: Comma Separated Text File.
Click Next to download the file to your computer.
Export Opportunities
Click the Opportunities tab.
Select All Opportunities or My Opportunities from the drop down list.
Click Menu > Export....
FLEX will display a pop-up window, asking you which information to export and the format to use for the export file.
Choose these options:
Rows to Export: All Rows in Current Query.
Columns to Export: All.
Output Format: Comma Separated Text File.
Click Next to download the file to your computer.
Export Applications in Progress
Click the Applications tab.
Select All Applications - My Orgs or My Applications from the drop down list.
Select 01. Applications in Progress from the search box in the top menu bar.
Click Menu > Export....
FLEX will display a pop-up window, asking you which information to export and the format to use for the export file.
Choose these options:
Rows to Export: All Rows in Current Query.
Columns to Export: All.
Output Format: Comma Separated Text File.
Click Next to download the file to your computer.
Export Settled Applications
Click the Applications tab.
Select All Applications - My Orgs or My Applications from the drop down list.
Select 02. Settled Applications from the search box in the top menu bar.
Click Menu > Export....
FLEX will display a pop-up window, asking you which information to export and the format to use for the export file.
Choose these options:
Rows to Export: All Rows in Current Query.
Columns to Export: All.
Output Format: Comma Separated Text File.
Click Next to download the file to your computer.
Upload to FinanceVault
Uploading your files through our FinanceVault portal ensures that your data remains as secure as possible while it's in transit. If you don't have a link to FinanceVault, please contact your Customer Success representative.
You should now have downloaded 4 CSV files; one each for:
Contacts
Opportunities
Applications in Progress
Settled Applications.
To get these files to our Customer Success team:
Click the unique FinanceVault link you received from our Customer Success team.
Select the files that you downloaded from FLEX.
Once the files are uploaded to FinanceVault, click I'm Done to notify the Customer Success team.
Once we receive your exported data, we'll begin formatting it ready for importing into BrokerEngine. If we have any questions regarding the data, we'll reach out for a quick call to discuss.
