Please note: Once the sync is enabled, any new notes are pushed through to the linked opportunity in Mercury. At this time notes previously made on the BrokerEngine lead or deal can not be synced to mercury.

Setting Up Note Sync

Please ensure you have integrated Mercury into BrokerEngine. Click here for details on how to do this.

Check the relevant box to automatically sync notes to Mercury.

If you wish to only choose which notes to sync, leave that box unticked and then select the mercury opportunity email address in the Notify Selection Field on the deal whenever you sync notes.

Syncing Notes to Mercury

After initially syncing a deal to Mercury, a modal will pop up with an instruction to open the opportunity in Mercury to set up automatic notes sync.

Please note to leave the opportunity in Mercury open for at least 2 minutes to allow the app to respond and capture the opportunity's Mercury email address.

To check if BrokerEngine has the opportunity's Mercury Email address, go to the Notes Tab of the deal in BrokerEngine, click the Notify Selection field, and scroll through the email addresses until you see the mercury email address.

If for some reason you can't find the Mercury email address, go back to the opportunity in Mercury and click View Opportunity Email Address found on the top right part of the opportunity page. Leave the modal in Mercury open for at least 1-2 minutes and then go back to the deal page in BrokerEngine.

You can start syncing notes to Mercury once the Mercury email address is visible.

To manually select which notes to sync, select the mercury email address in the Notify Selection field before creating a note.

Checking whether notes sync successfully

To check if the note recently created syncs successfully, open the Mercury Modal. An event is logged indicating the Note Sync.

To check the linked note in Mercury, open the opportunity in Mercury and go to Notes.
