Prerequisites

Creating a proposal

To create a proposal document:

  1. Open a lead or deal in full view mode.

  2. Click the Proposal tab.

  3. Click Create.

BrokerEngine displays a list of proposal templates that cover a range of load scenarios. Locate a template that matches the prospect's loan context (e.g. a property purchase, refinancing, etc.). Click the Use Template button.

You can create a new proposal template. Click here to learn how.

BrokerEngine generates the proposal and displays it in the editor. Edit the manual and make adjustments as required. For example, you want to insert a product scenario. Click Save.

Editing a proposal

  1. Open the lead or deal.

  2. Click the Proposal tab.

  3. Click the name of the proposal you want to edit.

  4. Make changes and click Save.

Generating a report

There are two ways to generate and distribute a report.

Export

Click the Export icon to download the report as a PDF document. You can print the report (and review it in person with the client) or send it by email.

Prepare for Publishing

The other option is to send the report to the client through FinanceVault.

Click the Prepare for Publishing button. The Document Request page displays. Go to the SHARED WITH heading and confirm the recipients.

If a recipient name is missing, click the proposal file name to open the Editor. Click the Shared With field, add names as required, and save.

When the proposal is complete, click the Review Request button. In the side panel, click the PUBLISH AND SEND TO CLIENT button.

Client view

BrokerEngine sends each recipient an email notification with a link to the portal. The portal shows the request and a link to the proposal document.
